WHAT IS THE I-PROFILE?

The I-Profile is a tool developed by HR specialists for the purpose of assessing and improving personal and professional performance. In 2014 it was certified in the USA, demonstrating a validity coefficient of 0.75 – one of the highest in the world.

This is a questionnaire composed of 242 questions the result of which reflects an individual’s habitual behaviour in the present time – not the preferred or desired, but one’s true disposition. The test measures their ability to professionally succeed. It measures a person’s ‘operating system’ – i.e. what they have learnt throughout their life experience and have used it to survive so far.

A precise X-ray image of one’s habitual behaviour and true potential.

You can change your habits and we know how to help you do exactly that.

WHAT DO WE MEASURE?

ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS

It measures the ability to do short- and long-term planning at work, including in the departments one has the responsibility to manage, with a view of reaching objectives. The high score demonstrates a good ability to organise and prioritise, order and precision, and a clear idea about the future (where we want to get to). The low score shows disorganisation and confusion in terms of daily activities, sometimes inaccuracy.

An essential skill for management roles.

A must-have skill for every leader.

STRESS

It indicates possible sources of anxiety and distraction in one’s environment caused by people that, for example, oppose their goals, act in an inappropriate or demotivating way towards them, creating disharmony around them. It is the presence of toxic people who drain your positive energy.

Vital for every person above all.

SELF-DISCIPLINE

It measures one’s reliability, persistence, conscientiousness and personal responsibility.
In fact the definition for conscientious comprises of 3 parts:
– showing personal responsibility, not abandoning what has been handed over;
– guided by principles, i.e. completing things even if at the cost of sacrifice and discomfort – not because they enjoy it, but because they know it must be done;
– finishing what they start, accurate and diligent rather than superficial.

An essential characteristic for all positions, including those in finance.

ASSERTIVENESS

It identifies one’s strong intention and ability to face others in an open manner. It measures their level of confidence, clarity and determination when it comes to asking something of others. Authority, negotiation skills and a high level of conviction. People with high assertiveness go straight to the point. People with low scores tend to think long and hard what to say, skirt around problems, ask hesitantly or do not ask at all.

An essential skill for management roles.

PROAVTIVITY

It measures the extent to which a person thinks they can influence the environment they are in, the situations and the people that surround them (i.e. the tendency to be solution-orientated); or on the contrary, it shows if they are impacted by these same environment, situations and people (i.e. the tendency to use excuses and feel out of control over what is happening).

An essential skill for management roles.

TOLERANCE

It reflects one’s ability to build quality long-term relationships and perceive the needs of others. A person with a high level of tolerance is able to sense the needs and mood of the people around them, whereas the low tolerance levels mean they are likely to create misunderstandings or miss out on the real needs and desires of others, especially when they have not been clearly articulated.

NATURAL LEADERSHIP INDEX

The core source for this index is not a mere characteristic, but it stems from the idea that leadership is spiritually driven or essentially a grand responsibility that an individual has taken on. What is included here is the natural ability to be the centre of attention (nothing to do with vanity) purely due to the energy they emanate; their ability to enthuse others and the extent to which the people around would like to resemble their leader. A part of the natural leadership predisposition is making requests and giving directions.

How can the I-Profile help you?

  • To get to know your people not just as you workforce, but as human beings, and to understand what drives their behaviour.
  • To find the right person for the right position during the recruitment process – thereby saving resources, such as time, money and effort, to recruit and train the wrong people.
  • By using the internal analysis tool in your company, you will identify your people’s strengths and get to use the right approach to motivate them so they develop their full potential. You will find answers to many questions – e.g. why there is a high people turnover, why the salespeople do not have good results, why they do not want to work, why the shifts and working times are not abided by, etc.
  • It will help you as an individual to know your strengths and weaknesses so that you can improve and get closer to achieving your personal and company goals. Sometimes the test can also be an aid when it comes to employee dismissals, but this is only when it is for the company’s good.

Are you ready to learn more about yourself and the people you work with?

The value of entrepreneurial idea is directly proportional to the qualities of the people who ‘married’ it.
A great idea supported by individuals with poor qualities will not last. At the end of the day mediocre people will succeed in convincing the business owner that their idea is impossible.

Success depends on the VALUE of people.

When I started filling out the I-Profile, I expected to see standard questions about professional and social skills. I found myself on a close encounter with myself. Why do we often tend to open the doors to the wardrobe, to the drawers in the office, to the garage, all in order to organise, to assess what we have, what we may need or no longer need, but not open the doors to ourselves?
The questions in the I-Profile show a deep understanding of human nature and therefore allow us to look at ourselves as if we are looking into a mirror. Such encounters with oneself are one of the most important things in life. Let’s not forget them.
